We are "The Independant Press", a collective of journalists and underground agencies dedicated to provide members of our realm with honest, impartial news free from the influences of lords and monarchs. We are the broadcaster for the people and the opposer of propoganda, we ensure that anybody, and everybody, looking for answers gets given the full set, and nobody is left in the dark over the true happening within our nations mighty walls.

The economy of the realm has reached record highs as the Lancaster's new pro-business policies come into full effect. The result is businesses earning record profits boosting both trade and employment, furthermore the drop in tax has worked wonders for the slowly growing merchant class, while the ditching of the unemployment rate and ethical employer bill has seen the marginalised worker class get shunned further from society. The Lancaster's have long since been regarded as extreme capitalists due to their hold of the financial sector, with majority of the realms businesses operating through their banks. That combined with their takeover of the throne after the death of King Marcus Bunting means that their hold over the realm grows ever stronger at a frightening pace. However, in this time of turmoil and suspicion, it seems that the Lancasters hold all the influential places and stand to rule this nation with a stern iron fist under Queen Selena Lancaster. 

Nevertheless, our correspondents around the nation have provided us with troubling intel that a substantial number of the realms lord families, and much of the Aristocratic Society, are planning an underhanded coup against the Lancasters. However, our informants in the capital have supplied us with knowledge that their are grounds to believe that  the death of King Bunting may have in fact been a murder orchestrated by the Lancasters in an effort to gain the throne for Queen Selena and her future generations which has worked out splendidly, if it is to be true. 


Lastly, recent changes in the in the social systems of New-Zealand that have marginalised the lower classes has resulted in the formation of an underground movement. The movement, who have begun calling themselves the Radical Republicans, has the penultimate goal of ending the Monarchial system of the realm in the favour of a new system encompassing a relatively new form of governance called "Democracy". On top of this, their leaders have chosen to follow the teachings of Philosopher Carl Marx and adopt a social system called "Socialism", which essentially means a high tax rate for the rich alongside lavish government spending with the intention of providing for the nation as a collective and uplifting the underprivileged among us. Though, as of now not much is known about the Republicans, nor their plans. All that we know is they are gaining support and public approval at a very rapid pace.
